The Coach's Story
Not every coach was born an athlete.
In April 2022, I had no triathlon background. No endurance history. I just made a decision to start.
Three years later, I crossed the finish line at Ironman Copenhagen in 11:58:25. Along the way: two Ironman 70.3 Westfriesland finishes, the TCS Amsterdam Marathon, KPMG Marathon twice, and an Olympic tri at DTS Zandvoort.
I am not someone who has always been fast. I'm someone who found out what works when you build from zero — with no shortcuts, no inherited talent, and a full-time job alongside it.
That's the coaching you get here. Not the wisdom of someone who was always good at this. The hard-won knowledge of someone who did exactly what you're about to do.

It's where almost every beginner starts. The plan is built around where you are — not where you think you should be. We start from the water and build from there. I've been exactly where you are.
"I don't have much time. Can I still do this?"
Yes. The plan is designed around your actual hours — not some ideal schedule you don't have. Six hours a week is enough to prepare for a sprint or Olympic tri. We work with what you have.
"Does online coaching actually work?"
When it's personal — yes. You're not getting a generic PDF. Every plan is built for you, tracked through TrainingPeaks, and adjusted when life changes. The distance is irrelevant; the connection isn't.
"I'm an expat. Is everything in English?"
All coaching is in English. All communication is in English. And I know exactly what it's like to navigate Dutch sport and race infrastructure from the outside — I've been doing it since 2017.
